Tap House Shoreham is a charming bar and grill located at 16-18 East St in Shoreham-by-Sea. This establishment has received rave reviews for its warm atmosphere and attentive staff, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. One highlight is the Sunday roast, which features generous portions of thick-cut meat, although some diners noted that the roast potatoes could be cooked a bit longer for optimal texture. The diverse menu includes delectable burgers, with the Crispy Katsu Chicken Burger, accompanied by Asian slaw, receiving particular praise for its flavor. Vegetarian options shine as well, with halloumi sticks and classic fries appealing to non-meat eaters. Desserts like sticky toffee pudding further elevate the dining experience, ensuring satisfaction for those with a sweet tooth. Many reviews commend the excellent drink selection, featuring local beers and reasonably priced wines that enhance the meal. The inviting outdoor seating, especially on sunny days, creates a delightful ambiance, making it perfect for relaxing lunches or energetic post-cycling meals. While there are minor suggestions for improvement, such as the need for more gravy and better potato preparation, Tap House Shoreham is lauded as a must-visit, promising both quality food and a memorable experience in a picturesque setting.

Sunday roast are very nice, decent quality of meat and veg and generous thick cut of meat, 2 slices for beef and 3 for gammon. Roast potato were slightly undercooked and wasn't enough gravy, you will have to ask for more. Mussels 16 served in a kilo pot, but were half full, so I think it's a little on the expensive side and the white sauce was quite floury, could do with more white wine, garlic and onions for flavour. We booked quite last minute and also we have a dog, so we were seated near the door, there was no heating so can be quite cold on a colder day. Staff were polite and professional. Overall, I would recommend and would be back for their Sunday roast definitely.

We came here on Sunday and we were all just so impressed! Staff so attentive & friendly - lots of smiles & went the extra mile for us to have a great time. Food was so tasty, fresh and portion sizes really good. They even let our mains hold off whilst we had a break after our starters. People mentioned expensive but we are from London and thought the wine was extremely reasonable, just over 20 for a bottle of really lovely wine! Cocktails very decently priced and so tasty. Overall we just had a lovely time, the decor is stunning too - we can’t wait to be back. Big thank you to all the staff!

Tap House was our saviour at the weekend! As we trekked through Shoreham looking for a place to shelter (eat lunch), we stumbled on Tap House, and in turn a great roast. We had two vegans and one meat and they were all great. Nice staff and lots of tables to sit at in the nice weather. Will defo be one we return to on a Sunday in particular, but keen to try the regular menu too.

A great little Bar-Restaurant located not far from the River Adur. It has a decent variety of local beers, ales, and gins. There was a reasonable amount of indoor and outdoor seating for its size. With outdoor seating, it leaves you in a great atmosphere, especially when the sun is shining and the nice cool breeze from the river hits you. The food I had was very tasty and freshly cooked. There's a good mixture of choices of options on the menu depending on your preferences. All of the staff were very friendly and efficient. The number of toilet facilities was fairly limited for both male and females. Overall, everything was fairly priced. I had a pleasant experience on this visit, so I would definitely like to visit again.

Had a very nice pub lunch and pint of bitter after cycling the Downs Link to Shoreham. Sat outside next to the pedestrian area. Waitress service. Food looked ordinary but tasted great (could be the cycling appetite). The beer was very good (could be the cycling thirst). The price was reasonable.

Visited for lunch today after recently moving to the area and was super impressed! We came with our dog and were made to feel very welcome, happily getting him some water for his travel bowl. We had the chicken burgers and fries with onion rings and they were so tasty. Great service and came over to ask if we would like drinks. See you again soon :)
